With outstandings divided by four at the end of the operation with Ostrum, the asset management subsidiary of La Banque Postale is counting on its experience in responsible management and on real assets to gain market share. And it does not exclude external growth operations.

La Banque Postale Asset Management (LBPAM) is about to start a new chapter in its history.  The merger of its interest rate management activities with Ostrum, a Natixis affiliate, will cut off a large part of its outstandings and its employees.

The merger of its rate management activities with those of Ostrum amputating a large part of its outstandings and its employees, it will radically change its profile. “This is an opportunity for LBPAM to position itself on its high added value expertise, that is to say multi-specialist SRI conviction management”, enthuses Emmanuelle Mourey, president of the management board for a little less than a year. Socially responsible investing (SRI), very popular in recent years, is at the heart of its growth strategy.
